Your device
You open the UmbraVPN application and choose a location. Your account decides what you can reach.

Encrypted connection
The application builds an encrypted tunnel from your device, so the network between you and us cannot read your traffic.

UmbraVPN server
Your traffic leaves from the location you picked, using its IP address instead of the one your provider gave you.

The internet
Sites and services respond to the UmbraVPN exit point. The rest of your internet stays exactly as normal.

Plenty of VPNs open with absolute claims. We will publish exactly what the account system stores, what the service needs to operate, and what we deliberately do not collect — and we will not print a slogan the policy cannot back.
